(This post is from the afternoon of July 4)
Ok so Bavaria is pretty doggone cool. The Pfaenderbahn cable car was quite exhilarating and there was bonus for me at the top....a mini zoo. 7.50 euro for a ride up and back was very reasonable in my opinion.
Lindau sits right on the water as well and has a lot of offer in terms of restaurants and shops. Very pretty little island.
Michaela is my Airbnb host and I was able to enjoy a cup of coffee with her when I arrived. She is a very warm lady and just wanted to talk. She has two different jobs....she is a funeral speaker(and does some weddings) for those families that don't want any religious ties. She is also a life coach. She loves to write and help people so those jobs seem to fit her well.
Also, I realized today that I'm not 37 anymore.....meaning I had to shut it down for a nap this afternoon after arriving in Landau.
Destination tomorrow is TBD! I have to be in Munich the evening of the 6th though.
Welcome
Formerly titled "The Traveling Job Coach" and then "The Traveling Athletic Director," this blog is
for me and my memory because it's not very good.
My memory is not very good. See what I mean?
This blog has also morphed into a place for me to share my thoughts on life and how I see the world.
These thoughts often bubble to the surface during my travels.
I don't concern myself with grammar. This is simply a place for me to record my memories,
thoughts and feelings while I travel.
I started this blog before my trip to Europe July 10-24, 2009. Email me at brosefield@gmail.com
whilst I'm traveling or comment on posts here if you see something that
strikes your fancy.
Yes, I used the words whilst and fancy in the same paragraph.
