If you are a regular reader of this, you know how much I love Indianapolis. If you are a regular reader of this, I suggest we set a meeting so we can talk about your life choices.
But, I love Indy. I love the people, the airport, the weather, the memories I have here. I love it all. I am staying at an airbnb with Nate and Claire, and first of all, what a beautiful old home they have. And their hospitality with leaving out toiletries and snacks for me is unreal. Makes me want to leave things around my house so I can say "wow" to myself on a daily basis. They have a cool dog and a sneaky cat. The cat may be cool too, but he/she hasn't hung with me like their dog has. The airbnb experience still blows me away. Here's what happened last night:
-I landed at IND
-My buddy Chris picked me up(after having to navigate the parked cars at the baggage claim area. It felt very 1999 out there). It was great to see Chris and talk with him. He's a deep thinker.
-He drove me to SoBro(South Broad Ripple)
-I got out and walked up to a complete stranger's house, got the key to said strangers house out of a lock box, and let myself into these strangers house, met their dog and cat, went upstairs, took a shower in these strangers bathroom, and fell asleep in these strangers spare bedroom. Yes. I love it. Strangers. What a world I live in!
I took a nice walk around SoBro this morning and stumbled upon the Monon Trail which Alane had shown me almost 10 years ago so that was cool. That's where I saw that mural and bunny.
I'm hoping to get to see the Scottish Rite Temple today and then it's Amos Lee show tonight!
Welcome
Formerly titled "The Traveling Job Coach" and then "The Traveling Athletic Director," this blog is
for me and my memory because it's not very good.
My memory is not very good. See what I mean?
This blog has also morphed into a place for me to share my thoughts on life and how I see the world.
These thoughts often bubble to the surface during my travels.
I don't concern myself with grammar. This is simply a place for me to record my memories,
thoughts and feelings while I travel.
I started this blog before my trip to Europe July 10-24, 2009. Email me at brosefield@gmail.com
whilst I'm traveling or comment on posts here if you see something that
strikes your fancy.
Yes, I used the words whilst and fancy in the same paragraph.
